There's a message for us in the life of a mountain beech tree...
They're a family of slow growers. The challenging conditions in which they thrive demand a lot of energy, and so rapid growth simply can't be their priority.
But due to this intelligent use of energy, they have an unusually long lifespan. They're not at any point giving more energy than they've got, and the energy they do give is invested into resilience.
Now in my experience, I've found that the answers that lie within nature are true nuggets of intuitive wisdom, and listening to them guides us towards a much richer life.
So listen to the lesson of the mountain beech. Don't rush your growth. Don't expend energy you do not have on things that do not need it. Acknowledge your challenging conditions, and ease your own burden.
May these earrings serve as a reminder to you that actually, you're doing great. Take your time, protect your energy, and in the end, your life will be richer and maybe even longer for it.
